Lisno India Pvt Ltd ("Lisno", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. Under the DPDP Act 2023, we process your personal data on the following grounds:

  • Contractual Necessity — to fulfil our obligations in an active design or engineering project engagement

Our website uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Fonts — loads typefaces for our website; Google may receive your IP address. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — used to display our studio location. Embedded maps are subject to Google's Privacy Policy
  • Formspree — processes contact form submissions and routes them to our inbox. Formspree Privacy Policy
  • Tailwind CSS CDN — loads our styling framework; no personal data is collected by this service

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses minimal, functional cookies and does not deploy advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Specifically:

  • No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) are currently active on this website
  • Third-party embeds (Google Maps, Google Fonts) may set their own cookies as per their respective policies

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

  • Active project records are retained for the duration of the project and up to 5 years thereafter, as required for warranty and professional liability purposes
  • Newsletter subscribers' data is retained until you unsubscribe

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

  • Right to Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to Erasure — request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary, subject to legal retention requirements
  • Right to Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent to communications or data processing at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out
  • Right to Nominate — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDP Act
  • Right to Grievance Redressal — raise a complaint with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted through this website
  • Restricted access to personal data within our organisation on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular review of our data handling practices

While we take every precaution, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to promptly notifying affected individuals in the event of a data breach, as required by law.
